Kristina Irion Discusses GDPR and Data Flows in Brussels

Last year, Kristina Irion Professor and EPIC Advisor, was a guest panelist at the CPDP Conference in Brussels. CPDP is a world-leading multidisciplinary conference that brings together academics, lawyers, and policy-makers to discuss the latest developments in privacy policy and data protection. This panel focused on the EU GDPR and the nuances of data transfers to other countries.  Kristina Irion is a Marie Curie fellow at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam. She is Associate Professor (on research leave) at the School of Public Policy at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Her research covers law, regulation and public policy in the field of electronic communications, online content and services as well as privacy and data protection.
